NEW! Pre Vet Program (Part 2)

This program with licensed veterinarian Kathleen Weiman covers topics such as vet exams, mock cases to diagnose, x-rays, suturing, setting a broken bone, pet first aid, and instruction in animal CPR. Students get to visit a veterinary clinic to observe pets being examined in a variety of situations, an animal shelter to learn about rescued animals, a stable to learn about large animal health and dental care, and an exotic pet hospital to learn about caring for small pets and reptiles. Don’t miss out on this exciting, hands-on learning experience. Field trips may include the Cornell Cooperative Extension Farm, the North Shore Animal League, and Hunter’s Grove.
