NEW! Junior Veterinarian Program (Part 1)
Learn all about pet and animal care with species ranging from guinea pigs to horses. Students work with veterinarian Kathleen Weiman and biology teacher Alex Gerin to learn what it takes to become a licensed vet. Participants learn to suture, read x-rays, set a broken bone, and diagnose mock cases. Field trips may include visits to veterinarian offices, the Cornell equine animal hospital, an exotic animal hospital, the Cornell Cooperative Extension, and the North Shore Animal League.
